Woodridge and Naperville Tornado Disaster Assistance

June 2021

Late in the evening on Sunday, June 20, 2021, an EF-3 rating tornado caused extensive damage in southern DuPage County within the southwestern suburbs of Chicago. The tornado began in Naperville and then moved into Woodridge.

The Woodridge SD 68 community, a client of ICI’s since 2015, was among those impacted. To show our support for the District and the surrounding community, ICI’s Director of K-12 Education, Terry Fielden, led the donation effort for shelf-stable foods and cleaning supplies.

By Wednesday, June 23rd, a construction trailer with over 750 pounds of donation items from the ICI Team was dropped off to the West Suburban Community Pantry. We value the partnership shared with the Woodridge SD 68 school community and extend our encouragement and well-wishes during their recovery period.
