Construction Management is a collaborative project delivery method in which a construction firm is typically hired by the client during the design process on the basis of qualifications and past relevant experience. The construction manager then works collaboratively with the client, architect and engineers to develop cost estimates throughout the design process and provide input on constructability, cost control, value engineering alternatives, scheduling and logistics. During the construction phase of the project, the construction manager is responsible for the coordination of all construction activities and ultimately, the delivery of the completed project.
