Walmart Store Bolingbrook

As one of our earliest projects with Walmart, ICI was hired to complete a three-wall 42,677 square foot expansion and renovation of the retailer’s existing store in Bolingbrook, Ilinois. The total square footage of the building once expanded became 156,763 square feet.

The complex three-wall addition to the store houses new sales areas and stockrooms and the existing sales area was converted to a new grocery department. Additional work included new roofing, roof top units, air handlers, electrical rooms and offices. New tile and painting throughout the store was also a significant portion of the project scope.

This $9.9 million project required close coordination with the store managers as the store remained opened during construction. The project was completed on time and without incident.
