Walmart Supercenter Rockton

This 203,000 square foot Supercenter located on a 53 acre site features a masonry exterior and polished concrete floors. The store features the prototypical Walmart program of 250+ skylights to reduce energy consumption and a 28 ton pre-packed hydronic HVAC system with cooling towers that are 15% more efficient than standard systems. Construction took place in accordance with the site-specific IEPA Storm Water Pollution Protection Plan (SWPPP). Additionally, stormwater outfall and sanitary service extensions were installed to the south of the property, each over 3,000 feet long.

The project maintained a rigorous schedule and to add further complexity, ICI also completed 3/4 mile of road improvements; expanding Rockton Road to a four-lane undivided highway with medians for turn lanes.
