ICI is commencing construction on the Napleton Porsche Chicago dealership located at 570 West Monroe Street within the Presidential Towers development. The space was previously occupied by a Walmart Neighborhood Market and ICI was initially retained for the demolition of the space. Now that architectural drawings are finalized, ICI has been hired as the dealer’s construction manager for the 27,000 square foot build-out and related façade work.
The new dealership will contain 10,000 square feet of sales space and a 17,000 square foot service department. ICI will coordinate the City of Chicago permitting process and Minority Business Enterprise / Women Business Enterprise (MBE / WBE) participation.
ICI is highly familiar with the Porsche brand standards having recently completed the Porsche Exchange in Highland Park, Illinois and the soon-to-be completed Fields Auto Group Porsche dealership in Jacksonville, Florida. The Napleton Chicago Porsche is the first to be constructed in their Generation 5 prototype and includes new high-end finishes and features such as floating ceiling fins, folding glass partitions, and structurally glazed curtainwall systems.
The dealership is targeted for completion in late summer 2021.
Napleton selecting ICI for the construction of their Chicago Porsche point demonstrates a continuation of an existing relationship with the automotive group. ICI also completed Mid Rivers Maserati in St. Peters, Missouri, and a Nissan dealership in St. Louis, Missouri.
