Napleton Genesis of Aurora

For more than six years, ICI has fulfilled the role of construction manager for the Napleton Automotive Group on dealerships throughout the Chicago area and St. Louis. In a recent collaboration, ICI constructed a ground up 13,500 square foot Genesis dealership and associated sitework on a 2.5-acre parcel in Aurora.

Over the past several years, Genesis began a push to build over 100 standalone dealerships throughout the country. The dealerships have a unique look and feel based on the Korean philosophy of “son-nim,” which means honor guest. The stores are designed to treat customers in a stress-free environment, with living room-style spaces. There is an intentional boundary between the showroom and “living room” space. The purpose of the layout is to allow customers to view cars independently and then sit with an advisor to discuss and purchase.
