Packey Webb Ford

In the fall of 2017, ICI successfully delivered the Packey Webb Ford Dealership in Downers Grove, Illinois to the Webb Automotive Group. The 54,000 square foot dealership was constructed on a 10 acre site at the intersection of Lacey Road and Ogden Avenue.

The building’s parcel had been vacant but required site contamination management as well as extensive underground detention. ICI was heavily involved throughout the preconstruction phase of the project and worked alongside ownership to prepare a series of cost estimates needed in order to secure tax increment financing (TIF).

The new dealership features a 13,000 square foot showroom highlighted by a sleek glass curtainwall system highly visible from well-traveled Ogden Avenue. The dealership also houses 32 service bays and parking for 815 cars.

Interior finishes include large format floor tile throughout, custom millwork pieces and an elliptical drywall and aluminum ceiling feature with integral LED lighting.

The exterior of the building is clad with composite metal panels; typical of the present day Ford brand standards.

One of the most distinct features of the new dealership is its brand wall. The focal point design element is more than three stories tall and longer than 400 feet.
