Walmart GRO Program

ICI is part of a group of prequalified general contractors that Walmart has selected to work with under their General Contractor Resource Optimization (GRO) Program. The program is intended to create cost, manpower and schedule efficiencies and foster a more collaborative relationship between Walmart and its contractors.

General Contractors are assigned a region within the country and have the opportunity to oversee the construction of a specified number of projects over a defined duration. They also set their general conditions, costs and fee for the work. The scope work varies from store to store but is comprised primarily of store remodels and re-branding initiatives.

Currently, ICI is prequalified for the Indiana and Illinois region and has completed more than 14 projects to date within the program. As a whole, ICI has completed more than 60 projects for Walmart throughout the course of our working relationship.
