Wheaton Academy Academic Building Addition

ICI’s working relationship with Wheaton Academy began more than a decade ago when our team fulfilled the role of construction manager for improvements to the school’s athletic facilities. We were a trusted partner from the earliest conceptual stages through implementation.

Wheaton Academy then developed a 15-year master plan for the campus to address impending needs. Throughout this time, ICI’s working relationship with the school continued and strengthened. When they decided to begin phase one of their master plan, a significant expansion of the main academic building, they entrusted the work to ICI.

The expansion provides students with increased academic offerings and enriches their activities with a fresh and vibrant learning environment.

The 32,290 square foot academic building addition includes new classrooms, learning commons, student union, boardroom, collaboration spaces and an ideas lab. ICI also renovated portions of the existing building to create a state-of-the-art video studio and allow for a future kitchen for the school’s culinary arts program.
