Wheaton Academy Academic Building Addition

ICI’s working relationship with Wheaton Academy began nearly a decade ago when our team fulfilled the role of construction manager for the school’s new synthetic turf football / soccer field, baseball field, track and field events space, practice football / baseball field and tennis courts. ICI was a trusted partner from the earliest conceptual stages through implementation. Our on-site team coordinated closely with school administration to ensure student safety throughout construction.

Our relationship has continued and strengthened throughout Wheaton Academy’s most recent initiative: a 32,290 square foot academic building addition. The addition will include new classrooms, learning commons, student union, boardroom, collaboration spaces and an ideas lab. ICI will also renovate portions of the existing building to create a state-of-the-art video studio and allow for a future kitchen for the school’s culinary arts program.

Construction is currently underway and is targeted for completion in the fall of 2024. The school will proceed with their typical calendar year. As a result, ICI’s jobsite supervision team will coordinate and communicate closely with school administration to ensure safety for all and minimize disruption to students.
