So Long 2019 and Hello 2020!

We have said goodbye to 2019 and its wonderful memories!

As I reminisce on 2019, I think of how the year kicked-off for ICI: a company-wide weekend meeting in Lake Geneva where our team prepared for a busy year. Meeting topics included our investments in technology, support services and employee training for understanding and working with various personality types. To that end, we had a wonderful outside speaker who helped us identify our own personality types and challenged us to work effectively with our fellow teammates.

It was a good thing, because it turned out to be a year of significant growth!

• Our employee count increased by 40%
• Our project count doubled from the year prior
• And most important, we maintained the level of service for which ICI is known

The activity we saw in 2019 has not slowed as we move into 2020: Two significant retail developments are underway in the towns of Westmont and Morton Grove, Illinois. Multiple restaurant projects currently in progress for Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants and Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille exemplify our commitment to long term working relationships. Our automotive team completed the award-winning Audi Exchange in Highland Park, Illinois and our nearly twenty-five year partnership with the Fields Auto Group continues to grow through the completion of Land Rover Jaguar in Jacksonville, Florida.

School construction is more active than ICI has ever seen. Leyden HSD 212, Burbank SD 111, Elmhurst CUSD 205 are just 3 of the 9 districts ICI is currently partnering with on significant district-wide improvements.
