The Fields Auto Group’s new construction Porsche dealership in Jacksonville, Florida was completed in mid-January 2021; two weeks ahead of ICI’s contracted construction schedule. The striking two-story, 41,000 square foot dealership is situated on a 5.85-acre site along Atlantic Boulevard, the city’s primary corridor for auto sales. The dealership interior boasts high design features synonymous with the Porsche brand coupled with well-appointed amenities associated with Fields Auto Group dealerships: an espresso bar with solid surface countertops, a full-service kitchen, and a luxurious waiting area; to name a few.
Exterior features include an impact-resistant frameless glass wall system and a customer car shade canopy. Additionally, ICI coordinated and installed new high-speed vehicle charging systems for the brand’s electric car models.
ICI is very familiar with Porsche brand finishes – construction is currently underway on a Porsche dealership in Chicago and our team also recently completed a Porsche located in Highland Park, Illinois.
It is noteworthy that the dealership finished construction two weeks ahead of schedule given that the dealership groundbreaking coincided with the emergence of COVID-19. ICI’s on-site superintendent and project manager remained vigilant throughout construction mitigating supply chain disruptions and more importantly, keeping construction personnel safe.
Fields Mercedes-Benz Asheville
Upon completion of Fields Porsche Jacksonville, ICI began the auto group’s Mercedes-Benz dealership in Fletcher, North Carolina. The new construction 30,000 square foot dealership broke ground this month and has a targeted completion in early 2022. The Mercedes Benz dealership is currently housed within a shared facility along with Mazda and Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) brands. This multi-brand dealership will remain operational until it is relocated within the new building. Stand-out features of the new facility include electric vehicle charging stations for customers, inventory, and employees; a full-service kitchen/café with solid surface countertops and beechwood veneer cabinets, lounge area, and a retail sales boutique.
ICI has partnered with the Fields Auto Group for nearly 25 years on new construction dealerships, renovations and expansions of existing operational facilities, and dealer brand refreshes.
