Located on the first floor of Benedictine University’s parking garage, the Police Department includes a communications center complete with campus surveillance cameras, a training room, jail cell, bookings and evidence storage, men’s and women’s locker rooms, conference spaces, offices, a sallyport and secure parking spaces for police vehicles.
The surrounding 144,000 square foot parking structure was constructed of precast concrete enhanced with thin brick, acid-etched and sand-blasted elements on the exterior. Convenient access to the upper levels of the garage is provided through multiple stairwells and elevators.
