New Lenox SD 122 Oster Oakview Elementary School

ICI was hired as New Lenox School District 122’s Construction Manager in early 2012. Our relationship with the District commenced with an interior retrofit of the lower level of Oster Oakview School to create a secure office entry point and classrooms. ICI worked throughout the summer of 2012 to successfully complete the 8,000 square foot retrofit. The scope of work provided several challenges. Unforeseen conditions arose on multiple occasions and constant communication among the team was required to ensure project success. Several of the issues that arose required structural modifications or adjustments to the mechanical systems and needed resolution within 24 hours.

These problems were mitigated due to the immediate response of the team and the project opened in time for teachers and students returning to the school in early fall 2012 ICI has gone on to complete capital improvement projects for District 122 every summer since the beginning of our relationship. Projects have ranged in scope from life safety improvements to renovations to site improvements and athletic facility enhancements.
